Delegation of French experts pays visit to Tunisia

TUNISIAONLINENEWS- On Tuesday, Secretary of State in charge of the National Solidarity Fund (NSF) conferred, in Tunis, with a delegation of French experts in social economy representing the Union of Mutual Associations of Communication and the Council of the Movement of Production Co-operatives and Social Organizations.



The meeting focused on ways to exchange expertise in matters of creation of mutual associations and setting up structures and legal frameworks in this area.

Both sides emphasized the development of social and fair economy in several countries, particularly after the global financial crisis in order to create jobs and attract investment to regions.

The French delegation members expressed their appreciation for the achievements accomplished by the NSF, stressing their willingness to boost co-operation in launching co-operatives and mutual associations between French and Tunisian regions.

They also hailed the co-operation with the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT) and their recent participation in a seminar held in Matmata on social economy.
