Teachers killed, students injured from roadside bomb in Pakistan
(CNN) -- Two teachers were killed and seven students wounded Wednesday from a roadside bomb in Pakistan, a senior police official said.
Muhammad Ejaz Khan said the female teachers and students, who were young girls, were on a school bus. Khan said the bus was targeted by a remote control blast.
A Peshawar police officer said the bomb was planted under a transformer on the side of a road in Bachagai, on the outskirts of Peshawar. The bomb exploded when the vehicle crossed that section of road.
